Reaching Dilli ..

I was in Dilli (popularly spelt as Delhi) recently and visited the historic museum at the Red Fort. That suddenly made me curious to know the historic developments until the establishment of Dilli sultanate.
So here goes - interesting dates from the history of religions.

Interesting! I have also been trying to find out recently what the political map of India looked like at various points in history, before and after the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate. Information in available in bits and pieces on the internet and its very tedious to find out how it overlaps.
